Sundance Square, Downtown
Sundance Square, a 35-block residential, retail and entertainment district in downtown Ft Worth, was named after the Sundance Kid of western folklore. It is a popular place for concerts, dining, nightlife and entertainment in Fort Worth, both for locals and for visitors to the Dallas/Ft Worth Metroplex. The area includes numerous hotels, restaurants, shops, museums, clubs, movie and performing arts theaters, and hosts concerts and festivals throughout the year. Enjoy some live music, grab a Starbucks or a smoothie, and enjoy the sparkling interactive water display. The former Woolworth building as well as the Burkburnett building are listed in the National Register of Historic Places. A huge mural at Sundance commemorates the famous Chisholm Trail cattle drives that crossed the area in the 1860s. This is truly a place of history and a vibrant community!
